Patrick O'Toole has 18 years experience in investment banking and the financial services industry. He has extensive technical knowledge in operational systems and has a vast experience in strategic operations restructuring, post merger integration, change management, process reengineering, outsourcing and off-shoring. Before entering the consulting area in 1999, Patrick had a variety of operations, corporate financial analysis and fixed income sales and trading experiences while working at Salomon Smith Barney and a doing a brief stint at Dean Witter.

Patrick has spent 9 of his last 11 years working with Trans Form servicing a number of their global banking and broker dealer institutions clients through a wide array of projects. Programs, accomplishments and clients include:

• Established a Program Management Office (PMO) within Debt Securities Operations and later co-managed the Americas PMO within the US Securities Operations Division for a major off-shoring initiative for Deutsche Bank

• Contributed to the creation of a Service Level Agreement (SLA) between State Street and a State Street custody client

• Assisted in the administration of the PMO responsible for managing and reporting on all business initiatives relating to the merger of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) and Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) within the Financial Control Division, established and managed a PMO for the CSFB Payroll Department with a goal of integrating multiple payroll systems, processes and people from CSFB, DLJ and Pershing to achieve a full outsource of CSFB’s payroll operation, acted as advisor, on behalf of CSFB, in payroll outsource contract negotiations, participated as a subject matter expert in the creation of a detailed Service Level Agreement (SLA) binding multiple CSFB vendors in the payroll outsource

• Developed a dynamic forecasting tool that calculated staffing requirements for Charles Schwab’s Institutional Trading and Operations business units, assisted in the administration of the PMO, responsible for project oversight and management of multiple business initiatives within Charles Schwab’s Institutional Management division

• Researched, analyzed and implemented various procedures for the UBS’s Financial Control Division, which consisted of creating documentation detailing procedures for U.S. Federal Reserve Bank, U.S. Treasury and foreign government central bank financial reporting and later lead a number of initiatives in the Asset Servicing, Prime Brokerage Operations and Custody Services areas at UBS Investment Bank

After a brief hiatus of working at Sapient, as a Senior Manager and Client Executive, Patrick is now happily back working with the Trans Form team and is now applying his industry experience to the realm of divestitures at AIG.
